What To Expect

Your Pet’s Visit

Adult owner must be present at the time of appointment

All minors must be away from pet when examination is in progress

Dr. Cara will spend time discussing your pet’s health and any concerns you may have.  She will then perform two types of examinations on your pet.

  1. Conventional Physical Exam:
  • Ear, eye, nose and throat exam
  • Heart and lung check
  • Abdominal palpation
  • Musculoskeletal exam
  • Temperature
  • Skin check
  1. Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) Exam
  • Pulse palpation
  • Tongue assessment
  • Evaluation of body temperature and areas of sensitivity or pain
  • Diet discussion

Based on the examination findings and the information you provide, Dr. Cara will formulate a treatment plan that is best for you and your pet.

Payment is due at the time service is rendered.

Cancellation policy

My goal is to provide quality health care to all of my patients. Last minute cancellations inconvenience other clients and their owners. Please be aware of my policy regarding cancellations.

Please be advised that cancellations made up to 24 hour before a scheduled appointment via email, text, or phone call will be processed without a penalty.

Cancellations made 24 hours or less before an appointment will be subject to a charge of half of the consult fee. Exceptions will be made for medical emergencies.
